Hey, I’m Lou!

Owner and founder of Lou Makeup Artistry, a boutique makeup studio located in the Gold Coast specialising in makeup services for events, bridal and photo shoots.

 

My story began back in 2016 when I began spray tanning as a side hustle in the back of my dad’s shed (my OG clients will remember this set up!). During this time my passion and interest for the beauty industry grew and that inspired me to dive deep into this career, completing my Cert IV Beauty Therapy where I then added makeup, waxing, brows & nails to my services.

 

A few months passed and I shortly realised that makeup was where my heart sat, it was the perfect avenue for my creativity to flow.

 

A few years on, I allowed my passion to lead the way where I was able to quit my full time job & pursue my dream job as a full time makeup artist. Since then, I have never looked back.

 

I am so grateful for the community and friendships I have built along the way by doing what I love.

 

When I’m not in the studio slaying faces you can find me at the beach or having cheese & wine with the girls.
